 After milling the Jarrah is sorted by width, length and grade, and stacked into strip lifts.

These strip lifts are then positioned into the open air or stored under cover until the moisture content is decreased to approx 20% just prior to final kiln drying.

This process is very important in the early stages as it determines the quality of the final product.
